Chippa United have announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs defender Simphiwe Mtsweni.
The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Chilli Boys following the termination of his contract at Chiefs in May.
‘We can confirm the signing of Simphiwe Mtsweni on a 3 yr deal. He’s been training with the club for the past 2 wks,’ Chippa announced on Twitter.
The Chilli Boys have also recently signed left-back Marc van Heerden from AmaZulu, while they are closing in on Polokwane City midfielder Linda Shiba.
