Mamelodi Sundowns striker Rodney Ramagalela looks set to join Polokwane City on a permanent deal.
The 27-year-old spent the whole of last season on loan at Golden Arrows, scoring two goals from 20 Absa Premiership appearances.
If the former Black Leopards striker joins Rise and Shine, he will become their second summer signing after securing the services of defender Walter Maponyane from Chippa United.
According to KickOff.com, a source at City revealed that Maponyane has signed a three-years deal with the club, while negotiations between City and Ramagalela are close to completions.
‘It’s done deal for Maponyane,’ the source said.
‘Our negotiations with Ramagalela are now at advanced stage and should be completed very soon.’
Over the course of his career, Ramagalela has netted a total of 18 goals and created five assists from 89 appearances for the likes of Black Leopards, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Golden Arrows.
