SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels believes Orlando Pirates will be seeking revenge when the two sides meet in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals.

Matsatsantsa recently humiliated the Buccaneers 6-1 in the Absa Premiership, which led to Muhsin Ertugral resigning as the head coach of Pirates.

The 32-year-old thinks they will be seeking revenge, but insists his side are only focused on progressing to the finals of the knockout tournament.

‘The score doesn’t matter, it’s just important that we win and go to the next round. We must be professional with our approach and do what we must do,’ Daniels told KickOff.com.

‘Well, if that is [revenge] what they are looking at, we’ll be looking to win the game and move to the next round. They know [about us] and we know [about them].’

SuperSport United will now take on Baroka in the Absa Premiership on 19 November.

The match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium kicks off at 15:30.
