Platinum Stars’ MultiChoice Diski Challenge coach Keleabetswe Diale says her side will come out attacking when they take on Free State Stars at the KaNyamazane Stadium on Sunday.
Diale’s side are yet to win a match in the MDC this season, having already suffered defeats against Chippa United, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Golden Arrows.
The MDC coach admits that the only things her side lacks is the ability to convert their chances in front of goal but she is confident that Dikwena will start scoring goals to turn their season around.
‘There’s progress in our team from the first game to the last game. The only problem we have is that we don’t convert. If we can make players believe in themselves, gain confidence, I believe they will start converting and take chances when it’s necessary,’ Diale told the Platinum Stars website.
‘I can’t say it will be done overnight. With a period of time, I believe we can start scoring goals. We need goals. Possession doesn’t win you the game. We only need the goals.’
Diale says he side will come out attacking when they take on Ea Lla Koto in their fifth MDC match of the season.
‘We are going to attack. We are not going to sit back and wait for them to come to us. It’s a game that we really want to win. As a team we have been playing good, it’s for us to convert the chances that we have been creating on the day,’ she added.
‘I haven’t seen Free State Stars but I know that they also want to win. They want to climb up. They will come to cause an upset but we are ready. Whatever they come with we will be ready.’
Platinum Stars against Free State Stars kicks off at 11:00.
