Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi is believed to be keen on a return to his South Africa with both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns being tipped as possible destinations.

With the player currently on the books of Cardiff City, the 31-year-old veteran looks likely to exit the Welsh side having taken no part in the team’s pre-season training.

The Glamour Boys have reportedly already inquired about the availability of the star, while a source close to the former Golden Arrows skipper has suggested the player is more than willing to make a return to the Premiership., reports KickOff.

‘It’s an open secret that ‘KG’ will not be playing for Cardiff,’ the source reported. ‘There are a few options overseas but there is a high possibility to return back home.’

Dikgacoi had made 54 appearances for Bafana Bafana over the course of his career. Having made his name at Arrows, the midfielder earned a move to English side Fulham back in 2009 before later joining Crystal Palace.

Dikgacoi has been with Cardiff since 2014 and made 25 appearances for the side last term.
