Cape Town City midfielder Haashim Domingo says one of the major factors in joining the club was their “playing style”.
The 28-year-old arrives at the club after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Citizens.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder joins the club after parting ways with Raja Athletic Club, where he made 10 appearances under former Orlando Pirates coach Josep Zinnbauer and assistant Fadlu Davids.
Domingo brings a wealth of experience, having made 202 appearances across all competitions while scoring 20 goals and registering 15 assists while playing for the likes of Ajax Cape Town, Guimarães, Bidvest Wits, Sundowns and Raja.
“The biggest factor for me in joining Cape Town City is the playing style and the identity of the club,” Domingo said.
“Also, to be back in the Mother City. I would like to help the team be successful.
“From a personal perspective I would like to score goals and get assists, but it is all about the team.
“I am definitely a technical player, I am not a physical type!”
