Mamelodi Sundowns have handed Luyolo Nomandela his clearance and the midfielder is now free to join a new club.
The 26-year-old now the second players to have been shown the exit door by Sundowns after Lindokuhle Mbatha contract with the club was terminated by mutual consent.
An official at Sundowns has revealed Nomandela has met with the club’s management and both parties reached an agreement to terminate his contract, according to KickOff.com.
‘Nomandela’s issue is also done now. He was here in the office to discuss terms of his settlement, and he is also gone now,’ a Sundowns official said.
Meanwhile, Sundowns are also expected to meet with midfielder Sibusiso Khumalo, who does not fit into coach Pitso Mosimane’s plans for this season.
Mamelodi Sundowns will next lock horns with Zamalek in the first leg of their Caf Champions League clash on October 15.
The match at Lucas Moripe Stadium kicks off at 20:00.
