Ajax Cape Town CEO Ari Efstathiou believes that new signing Rodrick Kabwe will be a ‘tremendous asset’ to the club this season.
The Urban Warriors completed the signing of the Zambia international after impressing head coach Stanley Menzo into earning himself a professional contract with the club.
Efstathiou has labelled the 24-year-old as a ‘class player’ and he believes that the playmaker will be can help contribute to goals for this club this season.
‘Kabwe is a brilliant No 10 who scores and creates goals,’ Efstathiou told the Ajax Cape Town website.
‘He netted 10 goals for Zanaco last season and will be a tremendous asset to the club. He is a class player.’
The Zambia playmaker helped Zancao to lift the MTN FAZ Super League title during the 2016-17 before making his move to Ajax.
Ajax Cape Town will next take on Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership on 7 February.
The match at the Bidvest Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
