The most notable changes were the departures of Bevan Fransman and Lerato Lamola.
The club did not elaborate of Lamola’s exit, writing: ‘Confirmed #LeratoLamola & #VuyaniNtanga will not be part of the team.’ on Twitter.
The 29-year-old forward, who finished runner-up in the Golden Boot race two seasons ago, has been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs in recent weeks but his next destination is not yet official.
As expected, veteran defender Bevan Fransman has left the club and will join Maritzburg United. Vuyani Ntanga is the third player who will not be donning the famous green and white strip next season.
Siwelele unveiled eight new faces for the upcoming season in which they will be looking to improve on their 11th-place finish.
Cheslyn Jampies, Dean Hotto, Atusaye Nyondo, Mpho Maruping, Sibusiso Mxoyana, Tlou Molekwane and Khethokwakhe Masuku were all confirmed as Celtic players on Sunday.
The most impressive of the signings is that of Jomo Cosmos defender Jampies. The young left back has been courted by a number of leading clubs but it was Serame Letsoaka who will be able to call on his services next season. Jampies is joined in the squad by another Cosmos player in Nyondo.
Former SA U20 international Mpho Maruping has escaped playing in the NFD next season after joining the Bloem club from Amatuks.
Thabang Matuka and Julius Likontsane will be sent out on loan while Kabelo Mahlasela returns from loan and will look to compete for a place in the starting lineup.
