Free State Stars is set to make an announcement next week on who will be replacing Giovanni Solinas as coach of Ea Lla Koto.
The 48-year-old coach announced his resignation as coach in May, due to personal reasons, leaving the Free State club without a head coach since last month.
Ea Lla Koto’s media officer Nkosana Mashinini revealed that only time will tell before Stars announce their new coach.
‘The club is still searching [for a new coach]. I think it will be confirmed by next week. It is only a matter of time,’ Mashinini told KickOff.com.
Mashinini insisted that the club will only start being active in the transfer market once the new coach is announced.
‘I am sure the new coach will still want to assess the old players,’ he added.
This season the Stars had three different coach in charge, Kinnah Phiri, Ernst Middendorp, who were both sacked before Giovanni Solinas took over as coach.
Ea Lla Koto could only manage a 12th placed finish in the Absa Premiership this season , picking up nine wins, eight draws and 12 defeats from 30 games, ending the season with 35 points.
