The 27-year-old, who joined the Team of Choices from the Ajax Cape Town youth academy in 2010 has agreed to signs a two-year contract with the club.

Booysen’s agent Nicky Paiva has confirmed that the defender has found a club for the next two years.

‘Yes, it’s true that David has joined Free State Stars on a two-year deal,’ Paiva told KickOff.com.

‘I’m very happy for to have secured a club for him for the next 24 months.’

Meanwhile, Ea Lla Koto midfielder Hendrik Somaeb is currently training with the Urban Warriors and is expected to complete a move to the Cape side before the end of the week.
