Orlando Pirates bad boy Edwin Gyimah has reportedly not yet mended ties with coach Muhsin Ertugral and is still set to face disciplinary measures.
Gyimah and Ertugral were drawn into a confrontation at Cape Town International Airport a few weeks ago, with the player allegedly threatening his coach.
The Ghanaian man missed just one appearance following the incident, however, as he made his comeback in a substitute appearance against Platinum Stars, replacing Abbubaker Mobara.
But according to an official within the Pirates set-up, investigations into the altercation are still ongoing and disciplinary action is likely.
‘It’s an internal matter. I can only confirm that the investigations are still going on,’ the official told KickOff.
Meanwhile, Gyimah’s absence in his side’s last match is reportedly not related to the incident, given he picked up an injury on national duty.
‘Gyimah only missed the game against Polokwane after arriving with an injury after playing for his national team,’ the official added.
Gyimah has made four appearances for the Buccaneers this season.
