Highlands Park is keen on signing Botswana midfielder Lebogang Ditsele from Gilport Lions.
The 20-year-old has played for the national team since the age of 18 and has been considered an emerging talent for Botswana.
Ditsele was recently part of the Botswana side who played in last month’s Cosafa Cup finals against South Africa.
The midfielder has also played for his national side at all junior levels, starting from U17 and made his way through the ranks up to the U23 squad.
He last played at Gilport Lions but had been there on loan from Township Rollers. Originally from Ramotsawa, his first clubs were Letlapeng FC and Jwaneng Galaxy, according to KickOff.com.
The Lions of the North return to pre-season training on Monday and will unveil their new signings with Absa Premiership top goalscorer Collins Mbesuma thought to be among the new signings.
