Former SuperSport United coach Gordon Igesund insists he has not been contacted by Mpumalanga Black Aces over the vacant coaching role.

Amazayoni are on the hunt for a new head coach following Ertugral’s appointment as coach of Orlando Pirates.

Iggesund managed Matsatsantsa for 48 games from September 2014 before being replaced by Stuart Baxter in January 2016.

The former Bafana Bafana coach has reportedly been linked with a move to Aces, but he insists that he is in advanced talks with a national team in Africa.

‘Look nothing is impossible in soccer,’ Igesund told KickOff.

‘I am in advanced stages of negotiations with a national team in Africa and my business manager is working on that. In fact there are two options.’

Igesund went on to say that he has not been approached by Black Aces.
