South Africa defender Samukelo Kabini believes Molde FK is a “fantastic” place to develop his game following his move from TS Galaxy.

The 21-year-old made history when he became the first South African to join the Norwegian outfit following his departure from the Rockets.

Kabini arrives at the club after scoring three goals and registering three assists in 39 appearances for TS Galaxy.

The left-back has already made his debut for the club in an international friendly match against FK Bodø/Glimt played at the Aker Stadium on Saturday.

However, Kabini will be roaring to get more game time under his belt as they prepare for the new season.

“I am very happy to be here in Molde. It has been an exciting few days, and I am looking forward to getting started,” Kabini said.

“I have heard a lot of good things about the club and have seen how Molde performs both in Norway and in Europe. It seems like a fantastic place to develop as a player.

“I like to play with intensity and use my physicality in the duel game. I have played both as a left-back and a centre-back, and I always give everything for the team.”
