Jali ready for comeback

Bafana Bafana star Andile Jali is poised to make a return for his Belgian side KV Oostende following an ankle injury.

The midfielder has missed the side’s entire pre-season thus far, including the recent friendly match against German Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim, which they lost 2-1.

The player, who was not permitted by his club to link up with Owen da Gama as an overage player at the Olympics, is eager to take his game to the next level by joining a major European League.

Following his recent battle with fitness, however, Jali may have to be patient.  The midfielder has a task on his hands working his way back into contention with his side before he can deliver the type of eye-catching performances that could earn him a move.

The midfielder has been a consistent performer for the Belgian side following a transfer from Orlando Pirates back in 2014.

Jali made 35 appearances in the Belgian top flight last term, scoring once.
