Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has confirmed midfielder Willard Katsande as vice captain of the club.
Siphiwe Tshabalala was handed the armband last season and will continue to share the duties with goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, according to KickOff.com.
Katsande, who is next in line in along with Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Bernard Parker and Tsepo Masilela.
Komphela has explained the leadership structure at Amakhosi insisting that both Tshabalala and Khune share dual responsibility as captain.
”Shabba’ (Tshabalala) is club captain,’ Komphela said.
‘Two, Itu is team captain. Three we have got Tsepo, Katsande, Parker and Ramahlwe Mphahlele as vice-captains at Chiefs,’ he added.
The Glamour Boys will next take on National First Division side Magesi in the FAME Charity Cup in Polokwane on Saturday.
