Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Darren Keet is only looking for a move out of South Africa after leaving Bidvest Wits at the end of last season, but still has no concrete offers.

Keet saw his contract run down with the Clever Boys in July and has made no secret of his desire to leave South Africa.

In January, with just six months left on his Wits deal, rumours circulated that Kaizer Chiefs were interested in the services of the Bafana shotstopper.

Keet, however, told KickOff.com that he has never received a concrete offer from Amakhosi and also reinforced his desire to leave the country.

‘Well, no one has given me an offer, so it’s easy to say that this team wants me and that team wants me, but as long as I don’t have an offer then you know nothing else matters,’ said Keet.

‘So, at the end of the day you can’t tell anyone come to me or [they] wanted me because no one presented me with anything; so, at the moment I’m just waiting to see what offers I can get out of Europe.’

‘No, no, like I said I don’t want to stay in South Africa, I want to go outside of South Africa with my wife and my son and … ja, just go back to Europe or anywhere really but we just want to go back outside South Africa again. So ja, we don’t want to stay in South Africa now, or play for a team in South Africa at this moment. Maybe … you never know in the future, but not right now,’ said the keeper when he was asked about the possibility of staying in the PSL.

Keet is currently a free agent and after competing at the Africa Cup of Nations his agent Vasili Barbis was recently quoted saying he has a firm offer from Portugal.

‘No, I haven’t got anything yet, still waiting to see what’s going to happen. No teams yet, no teams at all. Still waiting to see what the agent is going to bring me, so, I’m not in a rush I’m just enjoying my holiday in Cape Town now. We will wait and see what happens in the next few weeks or something.

‘No, no, no I don’t want to stay in the PSL … that’s not going to happen, that’s not my option at the moment. I have made a decision to try and get my family out of South Africa. Obviously being in Europe is closer to my wife’s family, and then my brother is also in America. My agent is speaking to a few clubs and stuff but nothing is serious, there’s been no offers that’s been made or anything about that … so we haven’t exactly got anything more than that at the moment.’
