Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana revealed that they are looking to help the recently suspended Gaston Sirino manage his emotions heading into the Telkom Knockout final against Maritzburg United.
The Uruguayan missed the last two of Downs’ domestic clashes due to suspension after receiving a red card booking in their semi-final clash against Golden Arrows.
The forward is notorious for his emotional reactions on the pitch, but Sundowns will be happy to have his undoubted quality back for the TKO final on Saturday afternoon.
.Speaking in the build up to the clash against the Team of Choic, Downs captain Kekana admitted that they need Sirino and that the team will look to help him on the pitch.
‘Well, he knows very well as a team that we need him… We want to win a trophy and as a result we want to try and manage his emotions more than anything,’ said Kekana.
‘We all know that football is a game of emotions and once you get that right you stand a chance of doing well and we will try by all means as a team to try and make sure that he feels he is one of us,’ he added.
