Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen has confirmed that left back Lehlohonolo Nonyane has returned to training following his groin injury which kept him sidelined for two-month.

The 30-year-old spent two months on the sidelined after sustaining a groin injury during his side’s 1-0 victory over Chippa United on October 15.

Larsen expects Nonyane will play again before the end of the year, having deployed Clifton Miheso and Matome Mathiane in his absence with limited success.

Larsen has confirmed that the left back will be fully fit to take in time for their clash against Baroka on December 18 after returning to training.

‘Nonyane has started light training and I don’t think he will be ready against Bidvest Wits [next Wednesday],’ Larsen told KickOff.com.

‘We are having a look at him but I don’t think he will be ready for this coming match.

‘I think the match against Baroka FC and Kaizer Chiefs he should be ready because he has started light training. Having said that, we don’t want to rush him because the groin is a sensitive injury and if you come back too soon it can go again and will have him out for long.

Golden Arrows will next take on Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.

The match at Chatsworth Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
