Baroka have completed the signing of Tshepiso Lietsisa from Witbank Spurs in preparation of their first season in the Premiership.

The 22-year-old has been one of the stand-out performers for Spurs during the 2015-16 season in the National First Division, while coming close to qualifying for the play-offs.

Bakgaga already signed Cleopas Dube from Spurs on a three-year deal but returned to add Lietsisa to their squad.

‘Lietsisa has signed for Baroka FC. He has done well with Witbank Spurs this past season. It’s a done deal. They have bought him from Witbank Spurs,’ a source told SoccerLaduma.

The midfielder’s agent, Abbie Rasimphi from Liberate Resources Sports Management, confirmed that his client has signed for Baroka.

‘That’s correct, Lietsisa is leaving Witbank Spurs for Baroka FC, after signing with them,’ said Rasimphi.

Over the course of the 2015-16 season Lietsisa has scored two goals from 24 appearance helping Witbank Spurs to a fourth place finish in the NFD.
