Orlando Pirates winger Thembinkosi Lorch says he will come back with a positive attitude and will be hungrier to help Pirates to success after the mid-season break.
The 26-year-old was the standout player for the Buccaneers last season as his stunning form won him the coveted Footballer of the Season award.
Lorch has though struggled to recapture that form this campaign and has struggled with some niggling injuries and discipline issues as he missed the Soweto giants’ last two Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches of the year due to suspension.
The Sea Robbers were held to a 2-2 draw by Baroka FC without Lorch, while the Bafana Bafana star also watched from the sidelines as new coach Josef Zinnbauer got his reign off to a good start with a 3-1 win over Black Leopards at home.

Speaking to the Citizen, Lorch revealed that he didn’t enjoy watching from the side-lines and that he will be hungrier to push on in 2020.
‘It’s not nice being on the stands, but it is what it is,’ said the winger.
‘I will be back next year with a positive attitude and much hungrier to help the club do well.’
Pirates begin the new year with a match against Bloemfontein Celtic on the 4th of January.
