Tiyani Mabunda of Mamelodi Sundown is targeting all three points when his side take on Egyptian giants Zamalek in this weekend’s Caf Champions League clash.
Sundowns arrived in Cairo on three points having claimed a win over Enyimba last time out and another win over Zamalek will put them in a strong position in the group.
Mabunda, for his part, has recently returned to his best form.
‘We know that Zamalek will not be an easy team because they have won this competition on many occasions,’ Mabunda told KickOff.
‘It is not going to be an easy game for us but we have prepared well and have analysed their weakness that we are aware of, as well as their strengths that we have to be cautious about.’
Mabunda remains confident in his side and its ability given their recent performances.
‘We believe with the ability we have showcased throughout the competition thus far that we have the opportunity to once again do what we always do, which is the mandate from the coach of playing to get maximum points.
;So we are going to Egypt to get maximum points; nothing less than maximum points because once we get the three points we will be in the driving seat,’ he added.
The match will take place this Sunday, July 17.
The action will be live from the International Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
