Cape Town City have announced the signing of striker Lehlohonolo Majoro from Orlando Pirates on a short-term deal.

The 29-year old has now put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the newly formed club after being transfer-listed by the Buccaneers at the end of the 2015-16 season.

‘Cape Town City FC is excited to welcome Lehlohonolo Majoro on a two-year deal,’ City announced on Twitter.

Majoro will once again link up with former coach Eric Tinkler, who also secured the services of defender Tshepo Gumede and goalkeeper Samora Motloung from the Buccaneers.

The Bafana Bafana striker will be hoping to rejuvenate his career at his new club after finding game time hard to come by at the Soweto giants last season.

Over the course of his career, Majoro has scored 46 goals and has assisted a further 10 from 154 appearances playing for the likes of AmaZulu, Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates.

City have also completed the signings of Australians James Brown and Matt Sim, Latvian Renars Rode, Austrian Roland Putsche and defender Robyn Johannes.
