Chippa United coach Dan Malesela believes his side deserved something more following their 1-0 defeat to Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.
The Chilli Boys suffered their fifth defeat in the Absa Premiership this season at the hands of Rise and Shine following a superb free-kick by Jabu Maluleke.
The 51-year-old believes his side deserved more than a narrow defeat after his side created the most of the chances in the final third throughout the match but he insists that his side are preparing well ahead of their next Absa Premiership encounter.
‘It’s a kind of a game where I felt we deserved something but again in football sometimes it is not the case,’ Malesela told the Chippa United website.
‘We must come up with solutions before our game on Saturday. We are playing at home and we must do all possible to come with the result.’
Chippa United will be hoping to bounce back when they take on Highlands Park at the Buffalo City Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 15:30.
