Reports from Turkish outlets suggest that former Cape Town City midfielder Lebogang Manyama is set to leave his club in the Turkish top tier.
Manyama joined Turkish-outfit, Konyaspor from City during September last year, but he has only appeared 13 times for the club across all competitions.
According to Soccer Laduma, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns are interested in luring the player back home to South Africa.
According to to the Turkish outlet, YeniAkit, the player is set to make the move back to the PSL.
‘Konyaspor’s unsuccessful footballer Lebogang Manyama could depart from the team.
‘Maikane Phiri, the manager of Atiker Konyaspor’s South African footballer Lebogang Manyama, spoke to the foreign press. Phiri said that not many chances [were] given by [head coach] Sergen Yalçının, [who] said that [he] can leave the team and [if another] club called.
‘Manyama is expected to sign [for] a team in the Premier League,’ read the report YeniAkit’s official website.
At the age of 27, the midfielder still has a number of his best years ahead of him and there will undoubtedly be a number of the league’s top clubs who will be interested in the man who score 13 goals for Cape Town City in the 2016/17 season
