Kaizer Chiefs attacker Lebogang Manyama believes Amakhosi will only get better after their dramatic 3-2 win over Highlands Park in their Absa Premiership opener.
Manyama, who signed for Chiefs last season but endured a campaign blighted by injuries, was the standout performer for the Soweto giants as his brace helped seal the three points for his side.
The 28-year-old, who was named Man of the Match, told SuperSport after the game that his team will continue to improve after a number of below-par campaigns.

‘The team fought. We’ve been through a rough patch over the last couple of years, but I think today we showed what we can do and we can only get better as a team from here,’ Manyama said.
‘We knew when they come here it’s going to very hard against a very fit team. They’ve had two months of pre-season, so we know they would come running.
‘But we know we have better quality and we had to be patient. The crowd was amazing, and this is the season where we have to play for the crowd. We get sold-out games week in and week out and we don’t show up, but I think it’s going to get better.’
