Chippa United team physio Mark Anderson has revealed that striker Rhulani Manzini is making good progress to recovering from his injury.
The 28-year-old broke his fifth metatarsal during his side’s first leg in the MTN8 semi-final against Mamelodi Sundowns and has been sidelined since then.
Anderson has revealed that Manzini is recovering well from his injury and he is expected to start training again once he has finished his rehabilitation.
‘He is improving. He saw the doctor on Tuesday but will still be on non-weight hearing for two weeks. Then weight bearing in the boot for further two weeks. He should most likely be OK to train then,’ Anderson told the Chippa United website.
Manzini will be hoping his form this season will continue when he returns from injury having already scored three goals in two matches this season.
