Having miraculously escaped relegation last season Maritzburg United are looking to bolster their squad with the signings of Bryce Moon and Belgian striker Andrea Fileccia.
The 24-year-old Fileccia managed six goals in 13 appearances in all competitions for Free State Stars last term before a serious injury setback prematurely brought his season to a close.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Moon, meanwhile, was among the players released by Mpumalanga Black Aces following its transformation into Cape Town City. He made 17 appearances for the side last term.
According to a source, The Team of Choice are expected to unveil a host of new signings at a press conference later this week.
‘Fileccia is in his last week for rehab and he should be joining the rest of the team full-time very soon,’ a source told KickOff.
‘We will make the announcement of new players very soon,’ concluded the source.
