Andrea Fillecia, Bevan Fransman and Bryce Moon have been confirmed as new Maritzburg United players on Tuesday.
Fileccia, the 24-year-old striker, managed six goals in 13 appearances in all competitions for Free State Stars last term before a serious injury brought his season to a close.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Moon was released by Mpumalanga Black Aces following its transformation into Cape Town City. He made 17 appearances for the side last term and coach Ernst Middendorp will be looking use his experience to good effect this term.
Multichoice Diski Challenge trio Siphesihle Ndlovu, Mondli Dlamini and Tso Motjatji have all been rewarded for their form with a place in the senior squad for the new campaign.
Maritzburg have already confirmed that a number of players that survived relegation will not form part of their plans for the new season. These include the likes of Mohammed Anas (transfer listed), Tawfeeq Sallie (released), Khumbulani Banda (released), David Booysen (released), Thamsanqa Mkhize (released), Menzi Chili (released), Thamsanqa Teyise (returned to SuperSport) and Kwanda Mngonyama (returned to Sundowns).
