Baroka executive officer Morgan Mamilla revealed that Geoffrey Massa could be on his way to joining Bakgaga ahead of the new season.
Mamilla insists that the 30-year-old’s financial issues between the club and Bloemfontein Celtic will be resolved in a matter of days.
‘We are still busy with negotiations, but by Monday everything will be fine. We are still sorting out the issue of Celtic [payout] and the boy but it looks good so far,’ Mamilla told KickOff.com.
Ther former AmaTuks forward, who has already verbally agreed to join the newly promoted side is still contracted to Celtic but is not part of coach Serame Letsoaka’s plans for next season.
However, the executive officer has dismissed reports suggesting that the forward is back at training with Phunya Sele Sele.
‘He is not training, he will train with us from next week but I will tell you on Monday after we’ve finalised the deal,’ he added.
Massa has featured in a total of 15 appearances for Celtic last season, netting two goals in all competitions.
