Highlands Park has revealed that veteran striker Collins Mbesuma will return to training in the new year after undergoing minor knee surgery.
The 32-year-old has been recently been feeling discomfort in his knee and will now undergo surgery which could take up to seven weeks to heal.
The Zambian international look set to return to fully training in February when he fully recovers from his injury.
This season the veteran striker has already scored four goals from 13 appearances for the Loins of the North in all competitions.
Highlands Park will now welcome Platinum Stars to the Makhulong Stadium in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.
kick-off has been scheduled for 19:30.
