Free agent Collins Mbesuma is set to hold talks with Bloemfontein Celtic over the prospect of securing a deal at the club.
Mbesuma was the top scorer in the Premiership last term when he plied his trade for Mpumalanga Black Aces, but following the club’s takeover, the big striker has not renewed his deal.
The Zambian has now attracted the interest of Celtic, who are ready to offer the striker favourable terms to join the club.
‘The club is set to meet with Collins Mbesuma today. If all goes well, he will sign with us this afternoon,’ a source told KickOff on Thursday.
Celtic have reportedly also appointed goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb as the new captain of their side. The player is about to embark on his eighth season at the club, having joined from Tonnerre Yaonde in Cameroon back in 2008.
