Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo insists that his side will keep working and training hard, and sooner or later the results will start to flow.
The 53-year-old was recently appointed head coach of the Urban Warriors following the departure of coach Roger de Sa.
According to the former Dutch goalkeeper his side are working hard to try and turn their season around and move up from the bottom of the Absa Premiership standings.
‘My first few weeks on the job as head coach have gone okay, we are working really well and we just need results. Slowly everything is falling in place and now we are waiting for results to follow,’ Menzo told the Ajax Cape Town website.
‘We are eager to get our first win of the season, no matches are easy in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), but if we continue to play like we played over the weekend against Maritzburg United results will follow.
‘We must concentrate for the whole 90 minutes, we need to be a little bit smarter, read the game better and take advantage – results will bring confidence.’
Ajax Cape Town take on Platinum Stars in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.
