Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Joseph Molangoane says he is grateful to the club for handing him his first start for Amakhosi against Polokwane City on Sunday.
The Glamour Boys recently ended their winless streak in the Absa Premiership following their 3-2 comeback victory over Rise and Shine at the FNB Stadium.
The 28-year-old says he feels delighted to have contributed to the success of the team after scoring his first goal for the Soweto giants on Sunday.
‘I really missed it (when I was out),’ Molangoane told the Kaizer Chiefs website.
‘I had a really tough period this year and I went through some really difficult moments, but I am so happy to be over that and playing once again.’
‘Going to Durban in the next match (Golden Arrows), it’s important that we start from where we finished and get more points before the Christmas break.’
Kaizer Chiefs will now take on Golden Arrows in the Absa Premiership match on Wednesday.
The match at Moses Mabhida Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
