Orlando Pirates forward Bernard Morrison has revealed that he wants to become one of the best foreign players in the Absa Premiership.
The 23-year-old joined Pirates during the transfer window this season after impressing during the Caf Champions League with Congolese side AS Vita.
The Ghanaian attacker says he is confident that the Buccaneers are strong contenders to lift the Absa Premiership this season and says he is committed to helping his side have a successful campaign this season.
‘I’d like to become one of the best players foreign players in this league,’ Morrison told KickOff.com.
‘This season I think we are definitely in for the league and all the titles. Yes, we might have lost out on one (MTN8) already, but there are many remaining in the season, and I’m confident we can challenge for them.
‘A lot is expected of us, but we are ready and committed to giving our best and to deliver good results. We won’t be able to make any excuses should we fail to deliver.’
Muhsin Ertugral’s side currently sit third on the Absa Premiership standings, picking up eight points from four matches.
When the Absa Premiership returns, Orlando Pirates will take on Polokwane City on October 16.
The match at New Peter Mokaba Stadium kicks off at 15:30.
