Former Ajax Cape Town and Bidvest Wits playmaker Bantu Mzwakali has moved abroad to join Swedish outfit IK Brage.
The 26-year-old has since put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Swedish side after impressing the club during their pre-season preparations, which kicks off in April.
Mzwakali, who was part of the Ajax squad that clinched the 2015 MTN8 trophy, parted ways with GladAfrica Championship side Cape Umoya at the end of last season.
Over the course of his career, Mzwakali has scored six goals and assisted a further nine from 121 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Ajax Cape Town, Chippa United and Cape Umoya.
‘It’s been good so far, I’ve enjoyed the experience, everyone has been so helpful and nice and the football is good,’ Mzwakali tells KickOff.com.
‘I’ve signed for one season with them [Brage] and then after this deal, we’ll see what happens.’
