Milano United have completed the signing of former Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper Sherwyn Naicker.
The 25-year-old has now signed a one-year contract with the National First Division club after failing to secure a top flight move
Naicker will now re-joins his former club after his two-year stint at the Dube Birds.
‘Yes I did sign for Milano, I couldn’t find a top flight team so I thought they would be the best team to join,’ Naicker told Goal.
‘I am flying down tomorrow [Tuesday]. I’ve just signed for this season, the plan is to play in the Premiership again next season [2017-18].’
The former SuperSport United shot-stopper enjoyed a fruitful season with Cosmos, despite the club’s relegation back to the NFD, Naicker kept 10 clean sheets in 28 Absa Premiership appearances last season.
