Mamelodi Sundowns defender Ricardo Nascimento says he joined the PSL champions because of their title winning capabilities.

The Brazilians recently signed the defender on a three-year deal in the hopes of strengthening their defence ahead of the new season, reports KickOff.
The former Academica defender expressed his excitement at signing for Sundowns stating he is ready for a new challenge.
‘I am very happy with this new challenge in my career,’ Nascimento said.
‘I was very excited to join Sundowns as soon as I learned about the club through my agent.’
The Brazilian went on to say that winning titles and playing Caf Champions League football is what attracted him to join the club.
‘I look forward to helping the team win these titles and I hope we are in the next Club World Cup.’
Nascimento has played for the likes of Portuguese side’s Moreirense, Portimonense, and Romanian side Astra Georgia, before joining Academica in 2014.
He scored one goal and created one assist from 25 appearances in the Portuguese Liga NOS for Academica.
