Bafana Bafana right back Anele Ngcongca is poised to make a switch to Turkish side Trabzonspor, according to reports.
Trabzonspor reportedly showed interest in acquiring the player five years ago but the move never materialised, reports KickOff.
The club then launched an offer for the star in 2013, with the fee believed to have been in the region of R68-million, but it was turned down.
Ngcongca has made a name for himself at Genk, but after falling out with coach Peter Maes, he was loaned to French Ligue 1 club Troyes last season.
With Troyes suffering relegation last term, any prospect of a permanent switch to the French outfit has gone out the window and Ngcongca is now looking to be released from his Genk contract with the club unlikely to oppose the action.
Ngcongca has reportedly also attracted the attention of clubs in China, while Mamelodi Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane has also shown interest in the 28-year-old.
Nevertheless with the player reportedly keen to stay in Europe, Trabzonspor who are being touted as the likely destination by the Belgian media.
Ngcongca made 25 appearances across all competitions this term.
