Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana was named as the best player of the first round of the Romanian Betano Cup.
The 26-year-old netted his first goal for FCSB in their 2-0 victory over Bihor Oradea in their first Group C encounter as his side walked away with all three points.
His side now occupy second place in the group with four points after claiming one win and a draw following their 1-1 draw against Galati.
Ngezana says he feels honoured to gain recognition for his recent performances for FCSB during the competition.
“It feels exciting, because of the recognition, of the support from the fans. Thanks to the technical team for helping me to improve,” Ngezana told the media.
