Free State Stars goalkeeper Thela Ngobeni says he will continue working hard to improve his performance despite producing an impressive display in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals.
The 27-year-old produced a man-of-the-match performance after his side beat the Glamour Boys 6-5 in a penalty shootout to advance to the next round of the tournament.
The Ea Lla Koto shot-stopper says his main focus is on helping his side do well this season and to work hard to improve his own performance .
‘I have forgotten about what happened in the past not getting game time, my focus is doing the job at present and to help my team Free State Stars to achieve its targets,’ Ngobeni told the Free State Stars website.
‘I am grateful for the opportunity given by the club and I will continue working hard as there is still a room for improvement.’
Ea Lla Koto face Cape Town City in the semi-final stage of the competition.
