Acting Mamelodi Sundowns captain Thabo Nthethe is frustrated after failing to agree new terms at the club.
With his current deal set to expire at the end of the month, Nthethe has grown discouraged by the lack of a resolution in his contract talks.
The player is believed to be unhappy with how the club is handling his contract but has refused to voice his frustration in the media directly, reports KickOff.
Part of the reason for the trouble is believed to be Nthethe’s lack of representation, as the player chose to part with the services of ProSport International in order to handle the contract talks himself.
Nthethe was voted the best defender in the PSL for the 2015-16 season, meaning Sundowns will be keen to keep hold of the star despite his current unrest.
Nthethe has captained the side in the absence of Ramahlwe Mphahlele this past season, who himself has been linked with a move away from Chloorkop.
Nthethe made 41 appearances across all competitions, scoring on four occasions.
