Orlando Pirates have reportedly agreed a fee to secure the services of forward Bernard Morrison from DR Congo side AS Vita.
The Buccaneers have been keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old forward following his performance in the Caf Champions League during the 2015-16 season.
The forward signed for AS Vita in August 2015 from Ashanti Gold for a transfer fee around $100 00.
Pirates have already had an initial R3-million offer rejected by the Congolese club, but KickOff has learnt that the Buccaneers returned with an improved better offer which has since been accepted.
‘It’s done deal,’ a source says.
‘The boy took it upon himself and spoke to the General [AS Vita] and asked to be sold. He always wanted to play for Orlando Pirates and his dream has come true.’
Over the course of the 2015-16 season Morrison has netted six goals and created one assists from 20 appearances in all competitions for AS Vita.
