Orlando Pirates have shown interest in signing winger Sello Jafta from Free State Stars.

The South African U23 winger has been impressive for Ea Lla Koto during the 2015-16 season, which saw him being nominated for the Absa Premiership Young Player of the Season award.

According to a Goal source, the 21-year-old winger’s exploits have gone unnoticed as the Buccaneers are currently monitoring his progress.

‘Sello is one player who has caught the eye of the club’s chief scouts. But at this stages he is being monitored and no official talks have been held between the two clubs,’ the source told Goal.

The promising youngster featured in a total of 23 matches for Stars this season netting three goals and creating two assists.
