Orlando Pirates face early PSL flyers Golden Arrows in the bumper quarter-final clash in the 2016 Telkom Knockout Cup.
The Buccaneers have been drawn together in a mouth-watering clash against Arrows with the match taking place at the Orlando Stadium. Times and venues are still to be confirmed after the draw was conducted in Johannesburg on Thursday.
Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns are at home to Polokwane City as they begin their defence of the knockout trophy at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The winners of the 2012 final Bloemfontein Celtic have been drawn away against Cape Town City, who will make their debut in the knockout tournament.
While newly-promoted side Baroka are set for their maiden appearance in the cup tie when they welcome 2013 winners Platinum Stars to the New Peter Mokaba Stadium. Meanwhile, two-time champions Bidvest Wits will travel to the James Motlatsi Stadium when they face Free State Stars in their first match away from home.
Last season’s runners-up Kaizer Chiefs side will play their clash against Maritzburg United at home when the two side’s meet in the tournament. SuperSport United and Ajax Cape Town will go head-to-head at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in what is expected to be an enticing clash between the tw0 sides.
The last seed of the draw saw debutants Highlands Park welcome Chippa United to the Makhulong Stadium as they look to make an impression on the tournament.
