Orlando Pirates have offered a fitness update on several players, and revealed that Vincent Pule will need a late fitness test to determine if he can play against SuperSport United, but Augustine Mulenga is back fit.
Pule, who made his Bafana Bafana debut during the international break, looks to be struggling with a muscle strain according to Pirates, who confirmed that the midfielder will have to undergo a late fitness test to determine whether he will play in the Absa Premiership clash against SuperSport United on Saturday.

It is believed that Pule’s injury is ‘not serious’ but the club does not want to take any risks with a player who has started the season so well.
While Pule might miss out, Zambian international Mulenga has recovered from the ankle injury he sustained against SuperSport in the MTN8 last month and will be available for selection.

The Sea Robbers also revealed how close a number of other players are to returning to action.
Gladwin Shitolo, who is recovering from a quad injury, has returned to training with the strength and conditioning coach to regain his fitness, as is new goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo, who has missed the start of the season with an ankle injury.
The club also revealed that wing Luvuyo Memela has picked up a knock to the ankle in training. The injury, however, does not seem to be too serious and he should return to action soon.
