Former Orlando Pirates defender Edward Motale insists that the Buccaneers have done well in secure players during the off-season.
The 49-year-old believes the new Pirates players will help the Buccaneers become a more competitive team.
‘If you look at the players that Pirates have signed so far they are good signings and the team will be competitive next season,’ he told SoccerLaduma.
Motale insists that with the appointment of Muhsin Ertugral as head coach and the signing of new players, the Sea Robbers will challenge for top honours next season.
‘They have a good coach and good players which will give them the chance to win trophies next season,’ Motale added.
The Soweto giants have already completed deals for players including, Thabiso Kutumela, Mahlatse Makudubela and Bernard Morrison.
