Pitso names Percy Tau in Fifa Club World Cup squad despite injury

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has named the injured Percy Tau in his 22-man squad ahead of the start of the Fifa Club World Cup.

The Red Devils will enter a closed training camp in the UAE before the start of the tournament after Ahly’s first-team delegation arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport on Monday.

The Egyptian giants held their first training session in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday as they prepare to face CF Monterrey on Saturday in the preliminary round of the Club World Cup.

However, Mosiamne revealed that Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau travelled with the team to continue his rehabilitation programme in the UAE.
