Bloemfontein Celtic managing director Rali Ramabodu praised CEO Khumbulani Konco after his election as an executive committee member of the National Soccer League.
Konco will serve with six other committee members, namely Kaizer Motaung, Mato Madlala, Stanley Matthews, David Thidiela, Jose Ferreira, Dr Rejoice and Vakashile Simelane.
Ramabodu expressed his delight at Konco’s appointment but also reserved special praise for his hard work as CEO of the club.
‘I cannot contain my excitement and happiness,’ Ramabodu told the Bloemfontein Celtic website.
‘Konco’s appointment distinctively shows the quality we possess administratively at the club. His shrewd and charismatic leadership skills has been recognised and on behalf of the team, we would love to sincerely commend him for such a great achievement.’
Ramabodu added that the club are honoured and grateful to be associated with the National Soccer League.
‘The entire Siwelele family must celebrate and rejoice at the appointment of our own. We are eternally grateful towards the League for their amazing vision, to rope in young, diligent and futuristic leaders like Khumbulani and clearly there are long-term plans.
‘Our South African football is in good hands and we are proud as a team to be associated with such a great league,’.
